Caring for Moms and Kids
We welcome expecting moms who have pregnancy-related concerns. Once your baby is born, they should be checked to make sure that the traumatic birth process hasn’t affected their spine. When babies and children come in, we can make a positive impact on their health early in life. Childhood conditions such as fever, hyperactivity, ADD and ear infections may be assisted by chiropractic.
Jump-Starting Your Healing
Dr. Lynne, D.C. will likely recommend more frequent visits when you first begin care. As you get better and complete this stage, you can choose to have wellness or maintenance care. These periodic visits might be once a week to once a month depending on your activities and how well you hold your adjustments.
The Gonstead Technique
Developed by Dr. Clarence Gonstead, this method of analyzation and adjustment looks at your full spine health. Dr. Lynne, D.C. uses it as her primary technique. To cut down your pain and inflammation, we may also recommend cold laser therapy. It’s particularly beneficial for plantar fasciitis, bursitis and arthritis. If necessary, an Activator® instrument can also be used in your care.
If you hear a noise during your adjustment, it is nitrogen in the joint that is released when we move it. It’s similar to what happens when you open a can of soda. There is no pain involved, and we will walk you through what to expect before we begin.
